The people stood in the church and they prayed, "Lord, send us Revival." Then a rushing, mighty wind blew through the sanctuary And the people raised their hands and clapped and sang: but the Revival was not in the wind.
Then the people sat and prayed again, "Lord, send us revival." And Suddenly, the church began to shake, the walls vibrated, the stained Glass windows rattled and the church was shaken to its very foundation until the people trembled - but the revival was not in the shaking.
So the people got down on their knees and they cried to the Lord, "Please, send us Revival!" and They confessed their sins upon the altar of their hearts, they wept with broken and contrite spirits And they interceded for their brethren. Then a fire swept through the church and raced up and Down the pews igniting every heart. And in the Flame the Still Small Voice was heard saying,
"Go, My people, go!"
Then the people stood and left the building their hands had made. They looked out upon the ruin Before them - and they obeyed. They went to heal the broken hearts and set the captives free. They visited the sick and made homes for the homeless. They fed the hungry, comforted the lonely and preached the gospel to the poor. Then there was revival.
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
to preach
the acceptable year of the Lord.
Luke 4:18, 19
Called to Servant-Hood
I am calling My people to their knees; I am calling them back into servant-hood.
Yes, I have adorned you in royalty, I have clothed you in My finery and bestowed upon you all the fittings of those who are called to dwell in the house of the King. And for this reason I am asking you to disrobe for a season and clothe yourselves in humility and repentance. I call down the strongholds of pomposity and pride that have sought to pollute My bride with their illusions. They have stopped her ears until she could no longer hear the cries of My needy in her streets.
My bride, we walk together hand in hand on this earth and while we serve together, I require you to reflect Me and I am not removed from and I do not distance Myself from the humble places.
I walk beside you in servant’s clothes and you are covered by My royal cloak of compassion.
My bride, I have called you to serve in the streets before I exalt you. You are called to kneel at the feet of beggars. I died on the Cross to save you, I require you to die to yourself on your knees to serve them.
I am calling you to servant-hood.
Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus: who being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: but made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant….Philippians 2:5-7
Praise Me
Praise Me, open your door and let the people in. Pour out the Wine, offer them My Bread. Cover them with My warmth, give them the Oil of My Spirit for their wounds;
heal the broken hearts, remove the thorns.
Praise Me, stand up, open your arms and gather in all the ones My Spirit draws to Me through you. I need you to Praise Me!
I have not called you to do a work for Me, I have called you to let Me do My work through you.
