Remnant
Noah, Daniel and Job - Ezekiel 14:14

When God’s Holy Fire descends upon the branches of men, some are consumed and fall away. Others are purged by the fire and come forth shining as gold. And the Lord gathers them, this remnant and wears them upon His crown. They are the glory of His diadem.

Noah obeyed Me, and sought his refuge in Me. I carried him across the stormy waters and caused him to come to rest on higher ground. He obeyed me and lived. I was his only salvation, for there is no other way that a man can be saved.

Daniel separated and sanctified himself to Me. He did not bend his knee to the gods of silver and gold and men. He refused to eat the pagan meat and found his joy on his knees before Me, and I kept him from his hour of temptation. I sealed the mouths of the lions, and caused his enemies to lick the ground where he stood.

Job was rolled in the ashes and trusted Me through his suffering. There within the fire, a just man was made perfect until his eyes of faith could see Me. I come to purge every ounce of self-righteousness away, for all righteousness is of Me. Job was reborn in the ashes to live again abundantly.

Dark clouds are gathering, the fire storm is coming; My dove is resting in the uppermost branches of the remnant tree. There I shall pick My fruit and gather My children to Me, Noah, and Daniel and Job.

Covenant

I have made a covenant with you, saith the Lord; a covenant of love and mercy. Be faithful to Me, My bride; for I am a faithful husband and I will always be there for you in times of need. Job refused to deny Me through his suffering. I desire the same devotion from you. The ground of this world that you are standing upon will shift, it will always be unstable until I come for you and restore the earth with My Presence. Will you fall away from Me if you suffer, or can you praise Me through it, knowing that I am waiting for you on the other side of the fire storm?

Preparation

I shall prepare you for your office, saith the Lord. I shall send you through the narrowest gate, into the darkest valley so you shall learn to see by My Light within thee. I will strip you of all things and provide for you a covering that is of My Spirit.
     I will send you forth in need, so that you may learn to trust Me for your riches.
     Yea, children, these are the things I seek; love given in the abundance of your need; strength in weakness, joy in tribulation, patience in suffering, willingness where disobedience had reigned. Then you shall see the Kingdom and enter into men’s palaces with My testimony. For men shall see you walking above the waters of this life - then shall they know My witness it true.

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you: but rejoice, inasmuch as you are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when His glory shall be revealed, you may be glad also with exceeding joy. I Peter 4:12,13

If You Love Me

If you love Me, keep My commandments; (John 14:15) for your love for Me shall be stronger than your love for self and the world. And you shall have delight in knowing you have obeyed Me. My peace shall keep your heart, and My love shall dance with you eternally.

Obedience

I seek the praise of obedience to My Word, but many have sought Me with ease and rested on the bed of callousness to My instruction. Do not pull away from Me, though My word to you may seem stern at times. My word is your only preservation. My Spirit is your only protection.
     Seek to do My will, child. Let it be your meat and I promise you, My Life will rise upon you like a pure, new day. Its rewards cannot be compared to the glory you seek with your own wisdom. I have promised you eternal life. Now reward Me with the glory of your submitted will and we shall both share in the victory.
