Greetings in the precious name of Jesus! We would like to introduce ourselves to you. We are Jack and Hannah Shively. We are "home missionaries" currently working in the northeastern portion of the United States. We minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ with illustrated Scripture, storytelling and drama. Why an arts ministry? We have found the arts to be extremely effective in reaching people with the Good News of Jesus Christ. There is no "religion" in what we do, just Jesus. We also believe that there is tremendous power in the pure Word of God and our ministry strives to distribute as much of this good seed as possible. Our ministry began in 1981. We had lost our home in a business deal. This was the event in our lives that God used to pitch us out of our comfortable safe zone and into ministry. We sold off what remained of our furniture to purchase our first travel trailer and we began to do secular art shows as an outreach. Most of the people we ministered to were "religious victims" - people who had never been able to enter any kind of relationship with Jesus because of some bad experiences they'd had with "religion" - or faith without love. We continued this aspect of the ministry for many years, then in 1991 we added the drama. At that point God changed our direction and sent us into the churches.We have been blessed with many salvations and countless rededications to Christ. We feel a major thrust of our ministry at this point is to be instruments to help revive the bride of Christ and to encourage her to serve "The Least of These". We live by faith, love offerings and many miracles. We are very mobile, our only home is still a travel trailer. We are very grateful to all those who have helped keep us on the road by purchasing our art work.
